Polda Kep. Bangka Belitung, Bid Humas,- Investigators from the Directorate of Special Economic Crimes (Dirtipideksus) of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Indonesian National Police have handed over stage II suspects and evidence in cases of alleged criminal acts of investment fraud in the Binomo application.
Head of Unit V Sub-Directorate II of Banking, Dirtipideksus Bareskrim Polri, Police Commissioner Karta said that the suspect who would be transferred to the prosecutor was Fakar Suhartami Pramata alias Fakarich.
“Today, the suspect Fakar was delegated for the second stage of handing over the suspect and evidence. Fakarich’s case file has been declared complete or P-21 formally and materially by the public prosecutor last Friday (29/7),” Karta said in Jakarta, Monday (1/8/2022).
After being declared complete, Karta said investigators had transferred the suspect and evidence to the Medan District Attorney, North Sumatra (Sumut). Previously, Fakarich was delegated to the South Tangerang District Attorney’s Office, Banten, Friday (24/6).
“Phase II goes to Medan, because many of Fakar’s victims are witnesses in Medan,” he said.
Karta continued, the files for the other five suspects are in phase I and the files (P-19) have been returned according to the instructions of the research prosecutor. The prosecutor is currently investigating the file.
“The other suspects are in stage one, the files are still at the prosecutor’s office, and they are being investigated,” he said.
The five suspects are Brian Edgar Nababan (Binomo Indonesia manager), Wiky Mandara Nurahadi (admin of Indra Kenz’s Telegram account, Vanessa Khong-Kenz’s lover), Rudiyanto Pei (Vanessa Khong’s dad), and Nathania Kesuma (Kenz’s sister).
For information, this Binomo application investment fraud cost 108 victims Rp. 73.1 billion. Investigators have confiscated evidence and assets of the suspect, including documents and electronic evidence, a Tesla car, three houses, 12 luxury watches of various brands, and Rp1.64 billion in cash.
